GRAND PRIZE: Andy Gomez of Corpus Christi, TX. Andy and a friend will be heading to compete in the World Series of Beer Pong V in Las Vegas, NV January 1 – 5, 2010.
Here is what went down…
Garner the most votes and you (plus a friend) will be flown to sunny Las Vegas, put up for 4 nights at the Flamingo Las Vegas Hotel, and entered in the World Series of Beer Pong V Championships.
To enter either contest, please select The Best Beer Pong Bar or The Beer Pong University. By entering your bar or university for a chance to become a BEACON OF BEER PONG, you will be eligible to win sweet prizes including the GRAND PRIZE and AWESOME BPong prize packs.
Sign up to “host your own screening” at your favorite beer pong bar. Either the owner or the patrons can enter the bar in the contest. The bar that throws a screening and earns the most online votes will be showered with Bpong Prizes. Of course, if you get the most votes of any screening you will win the GRAND PRIZE!
The Best Beer University
Sign up to “host your own screening” at your school. The screening doesn’t have to be an official school event. The school screening that earns the most online votes will be be showered with Bpong Prizes. Of course, if you get the most votes of any screening you will win the GRAND PRIZE!
LAST CUP OFFICIAL CONTEST RULES
The contest is sponsored and conducted by B-Side Entertainment, Inc. (“Company”), whose address is 327 Congress Avenue, Suite 650, Austin, TX 78701. Contestants from the 48 contiguous states in the United States where the contest is legal may participate.
No purchase is necessary to enter or win, but for a contestant to win some prizes the contestant must have a copy of the film LAST CUP which can be acquired from Company for shipping and handling charges.
There are 3 Categories for Prizes
Grand Prize Category: The host who screens the film LAST CUP (“Entry”) and garners the most votes via Twitter or email as described below will win the Grand Prize. Grand Prize: Round trip flight, 4 nights accommodation, entrance fee to participate in the WSOBPV in Las Vegas, NV January 1 – 5, 2010.
Additional Categories: 1. Best Beer Pong Bar and 2. Best Beer Pong University
For the Additional Categories, the contestant must screen LAST CUP and garner the most votes via Twitter or email as described below within that category to win the RUNNER UP prize within that category.
The Entry with the most votes from each category will win the Runner Up Prize for that category.
Additional Categories Prizes: Each winner in the Additional Categories will receive a selection of Bpong merchandise chosen by Company.
In the event the winner in the Additional Categories has the most votes in total, the winner in that category will win the Grand Prize and the entry with the 2nd most votes will receive the Runner Up Prize for that category.
Additional Rules
Voting: In order to vote a user must go to LastCupMovie.com to send a pre-formatted tweet or email to @lastcup on twitter or a unique entrant specific email address to cast their vote. Only one vote per person for each entry will be allowed.
The odds of winning depend upon the total number of contestants.
Selection and prize determinations will occur on within 7 days of the close of the contest, currently scheduled for November 17, 2009 at approximately 11 AM at Company’s offices. Winners will be notified 24 hours after the winners are determined.
The prize winners’ names and address will be available at Company’s offices immediately following awarding of the prize. The name of the winners will be posted on LastCupMovie.com after the contest.
Open only to persons who are 18 years old or older at the time of entry. Company is not responsible for entries that are lost, misdirected, mutilated or illegible. If Company is unable to locate a prize winner within 2 days of the end of the contest, Company may select a new prize winner and the previous winner will forfeit their prize.
The contest is not valid where it could contravene local or state laws, and all local and state laws and regulations apply. The winner, unless he or she is a resident of Tennessee, will be required to execute any required Affidavit of Eligibility/Release of Liability/Prize Acceptance form upon picking up his or her prize. Such affidavit will allow Company to use the winner’s name, likeness in future advertising.
Employees of Company or LAST CUP, their affiliates, subsidiaries, and advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each, are not eligible.
By participation in this contest, entrants agree to be bound by these Contest Rules. All federal, state and local taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
